Ways to pay

Pay in a way that works for you.

Booking should feel easy — and that starts with paying in a way that fits how you actually budget. Here's what's on offer, with no small print and no surprises.

At booking

Pay in full, or pay a retainer with the balance to follow

When you book, you can either settle the full fee straight away or pay a smaller, non-refundable retainer to secure your date — with the remaining balance due seven days before the session.

Which option you see depends on the session type you pick. The booking page shows you the exact amount before you confirm anything, so there's no guessing.

One small note: if you're booking within seven days of the session date, the full fee is due at booking. The retainer-plus-balance plan needs more breathing room than that to work cleanly.

Spread the cost

Monthly payment plans — 3, 6, 9 or 12 months

For larger bookings (£300 and up), you can spread the cost across monthly instalments. The first payment goes today via card; the rest run automatically on a date you choose, every month, until the plan's paid in full.

You'll see the exact schedule — date and amount of every payment — before you commit to anything, so you know what's coming and when.

  • Which durations are available depends on your session type and how far ahead you're booking. The booking page only offers the plans that genuinely fit.
  • You can change the day of the month each charge lands on — so it sits comfortably alongside your pay cycle.
  • Card-by-card charges only. No interest, no fees, no third party — it's a straightforward direct-debit- style arrangement.
  • If anything changes, you can update your card or pay off the remaining balance in one go from your client portal at any point.

Buy now, pay later

Klarna

Klarna appears as an option at the Stripe checkout page, so you can split a single payment — your booking retainer, full session fee, or an image upgrade — into three or four interest-free instalments.

These are run by the providers themselves, not by us. Eligibility is decided at checkout and uses a soft credit check that doesn't affect your credit score. Approval is usually instant.

When you click one of these at checkout, you'll be handed off to Klarna to set up the instalment plan — that's the only place your details go.

Once you've booked

Your client portal puts you in control

After booking, you'll have a personal portal that shows your session, contract, gallery, and — if you're on a payment plan — every upcoming charge with the date and amount.

From there you can update your saved card if it expires or you change banks, pay off the remaining balance in one go if your circumstances change, or just keep an eye on what's due next.

After your shoot

Image upgrades through your gallery

When your gallery arrives, you'll have an included number of edited images to choose. If you want to unlock the rest or buy extras, you can do it straight from the gallery — same card-based checkout, with the same buy-now-pay-later options available.
